Honolulu is a dynamic business center and a hub of commercial activity, with its towering skyscrapers filled with corporate offices, cultural institutions and a wealth of history in the heart of Honolulu.

It's financial district is the engine room for many commercial and government organisations and is home to the Honolulu Police Department and United States Postal Service. Consisting of more than 40 buildings, Bishop Street and Fort Street Mall marks the middle of the CBD, which extends out to Nuʻuanu Avenue, Richards Street, Nimitz Highway and Vineyard Boulevard.

Positioned on the beautiful Honolulu Harbor, the Aloha Tower is one of the city's key points of interest, dating back to the 1920’s and boasting stunning ocean views. You'll discover an array of waterfront restaurants and cafes, along with a concert pavilion which is an iconic part of the city. Lolani Palace is celebrated as a National Historic Landmark and has been restored to it’s 19th-century glory. Originally a royal residence it still contains original furnishings and offers a glimpse back in time.

If you're planning a shopping trip, Honolulu is home to the famous open-air O’ahu Markets – the largest of its kind in Honolulu featuring local produce and handcrafted Hawaiian goods. There's also a thriving arts precinct which includes the recently refurbished Hawaii Theatre. Chinatown is another popular feature of the Honolulu Financial District, providing a taste of the orient right here in the center of Hawaii.
